Summer of Social Good is the first large-scale online social media charity initiatitve hosted by Mashable to come out of Social Media for Social Good. Stay tuned to this blog and Mashable for more information.

Run by Mashable, Social Media for Social Good.com will serve as an umbrella for organizations and charities that use social media. The blog will be updated by several participating grassroots organizations that promote charitable contributions on the web. Each blogger will have their own voice as dictated by their organization. Each week, we will also feature and showcase a different charity that is using Social Media, they will have the opportunity to share their story.
